Picture #7 – Coming Soon!

I know that it seems as if all of my pictures are being added after I actually make my blog post, and I promise to end that soon!! MR and I officially “graduated” from the VACRAO New Counselor Workshop today, and I will soon post a picture of myself and the President of the VACRAO, Kathie Tune, and also a picture of all the counselors who were also in attendance. However, I didn’t take those pictures, so I’m waiting for them to be posted on Facebook so I can steal them and show them to you!

MR and I drove back today and it helped to remind me exactly how close Sweet Briar is to everything. It took us only 3 and a half hours to drive to Williamsburg, and that included a (very tasty) lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. Richmond was an easy two hours (and that was to Short Pump, and ah-mazing outdoor mall!) Charlottesville is 45 minutes away where you can enjoy University of Virginia football, basketball, or lacrosse games, concerts at John Paul Jones Arena, museums, Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and many more! Lexington is 45 minutes away as well, which has Virginia Military Institute (boys in uniform – a no brainer!), Washington and Lee, and great shopping. Lynchburg is closest, only 20 miles away, and has a handful of amazing restaurant and cafes downtown and a great history of its own. But when you’re ready to sit down, study, and enjoy some peace and quiet, Sweet Briar is an amazing place to enjoy the outdoors and get away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities.

Stay tuned for these amazing pictures that I promise to put up and will kick this habit soon, I promise!
